The Black Women’s Health Imperative (BWHI) knows the importance of Black women being included in research. With our involvement in this national program, we can help create a community of one million people who will share their unique health data for research. This may help develop new medical treatments that are unique to individuals, and enable a future of precision medicine not only for Black women, but for all of us.

The All of Us Research Program is a large research program. The goal is to help researchers understand more about why people get sick or stay healthy. People who join will give information about their health, habits, and what it’s like where they live. By looking for patterns, researchers may learn more about what affects people’s health. The All of Us Research Program will last for many years. This will allow researcher to study health over time.

If you decide to join the All of Us Research Program, you will be contributing to an effort to improve the health of generations to come. You also may learn about your own health. Our participation will help to ensure that the data collected by the program reflects the diversity of America.

BWHI is calling on Black women to volunteer for this important program. We hope you will help make history and change the future of health.
